Respawn Entertainment has released the launch trailer for Titanfall 2. The game launches this coming Friday.

The launch trailer of the game features computer generated imagery, or CGI, and does not actually feature any gameplay footage at all. This could indicate poor gameplay experience or poor optimization. Why the company has chosen to not showcase gameplay in the launch trailer is unclear.

Last month Respawn Entertainment released the minimum and recommended PC system specifications for the game in which the game developer recommends gamers to utilize an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060 6GB to run the game.

Just like the first game in the franchise, the game is a first person shooter in which players can control both the pilot, and the Titans, mech-style robots. The pilots have several unique capabilities which could enhance their efficiency in combat.

These unique capabilities include invisibility cloaking and parkouring, such as double-jumping, zip-lining and wall-running with the use of a boost pack. These movements can be chained together in order to travel between locations quickly.

For the first time in the franchise the game also features a singleplayer campaign. In the campaign players play as Jack Cooper, a rifleman from the Frontier Militia, who is sent to an alien planet and must ally with his former squadmate's Titan named BT-7274 to fight against both local alien creatures and human enemies from Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation.

Titanfall 2 launches on October 28th 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
