Indie development studio Rockfish Games has announced that the space shooter Everspace has come out of Early Access.
In Everspace, players can pilot three space ships as they take on enemies and complete objectives, and each ship will have different capabilities and gear to choose from. In each run players will face new situations that are powered by the enemy AI systems.
The game is an action-focused space shooter and is said to "combining roguelike elements with top-notch visuals and a captivating story." The game also contains a crafting system that can be used to craft items to repair or upgrade your ship.
The retail version that released last Friday includes a new singleplayer story campaign, achievements and new virtual reality support for both the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift virtual reality headsets.
Everspace is now available for Windows and OS X and currently retails for $27.99 in North America and €27.99 in Europe.
