Hello Games has released the third patch for No Man's Sky. The new patch fixes several game crashes and bugs.

According to Hello Games the third No Man's Sky patch is targeted at the most common support requests, fixing the most common crashes as well as trying to help players who have become stranded or have corrupted their save files.

In particular the patch focuses on three main issues: being stranded on a space station with no resources to take off, loading corrupted save files and crash fixes for three most commonly reported issues.

The most commonly reported issues include crashes when gathering a huge amount of discoveries, crashes when collecting a large number of blueprints and crashes when players set a large number of waypoints.

With the first three patches the developer hopes to address around 70% of all current support requests. In addition the developer noted that it is working on a new waypoint system that may be coming in the near future.

Earlier this week the first patch for the PC version of No Man's Sky fixed several stuttering and frame rate issues. While the patch fixed some of the issues random frame rate drops still occur.

A full list of notes from all three patches can be found on the game's Steam Store page.
