Nintendo has released a new TV advertisement for the upcoming shooter game Splatoon 2 for the Nintedo Switch. Splatoon 2 is the direct sequel to the original Splatoon game.

The new advertisement primarily focuses on the game's multiplayer component that allows players to play against each other either online or locally by linking together consoles. The ad also contains several shots of the game's singleplayer campaign.

In the singleplayer campaign Callie of the Squid Sisters has gone missing and it’s up to the player to search for Callie and the Great Zapfish while battling against the Octarian army.

Players will be able to use different weapons to overcome obstacles, defeat enemies and take down towering bosses. Weapons include the Roller, Slosher, Splatling, and the new Dualies.

Splatoon 2 is the direct sequel to the original Splatoon game. The game will feature new weapons, new stages and new gameplay strategies to be discovered and mastered.

Splatoon 2 launches on July 21, 2017, exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
