Development studio Psyonix has delayed the cross-platform party system for Rocket League. The system was supposed to go live this month.
According to a recent announcement, the studio has decided to "push it out of September" and include it in a future update. A new release date was not announced.
The extra time will allow the studio to make sure the underlying RocketID system works flawlessly on all platforms before its release.
The studio didn't comment on whether the cross-platform party update was delayed due to hiccups with the update's review procedure for console versions of the game.
