Square Enix has released the first screenshots of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The publisher has also released a cinematic trailer for the game.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is said to focus on Lara Croft's "defining moment" as she becomes the Tomb Raider while saving the world from a Maya apocalypse.

The game will be released in five different editions, including Digital Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition. Some of these editions will feature extra content in the form of seven separate downloadable content packs.
The franchise has seen 15 main entries and 6 spin-offs, making this the 22nd entry. It is currently being developed by Eidos Montreal.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider releases on September 14, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
