With the release of the FIFA 17 demo yesterday we are able to get a first look at this year's FIFA game. We've got 25 minutes of new gameplay footage of the PC version of FIFA 17.
New in FIFA 17 is the usage of the Frostbite engine that should allow for more realistic visuals and physics. The engine is also being used in several Battlefield games.
While the game does seem to feature better visuals, gameplay has not changed much compared to previous FIFA titles. The faces of players still look lifeless and the animation system leaves much to be desired.
The spectators in the stadium also still look like simple textured models and they seem to be divided in 3 animation groups being activated every few seconds.
The FIFA 17 demo is available for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
