New rumors indicate Valve may be unveiling the third game in the Left 4 Dead franchise at E3 in June. The second game in the franchise, Left 4 Dead 2, was released back in 2009. Rumors of a third Left 4 Dead game go months back when a former Valve employee Minh Le, also known as Gooseman, revealed that the company was looking into making a third game.
It is still unclear as to what Left 4 Dead 3 will offer compared to previous games in the franchise though there are rumors that the game will increase the friendly-team player count, in previous Left 4 Dead games the team count has always been 4. In adition is expected to feature a new, lengthy, campaign mode and several campaign expansions may be announced after the release of the game.
