Indie development studio Bulkhead Interactive has released a new video for the upcoming WWII shooter game Battalion 1944. The video features a developer diary and new gameplay footage.
Battalion 1944 aims to bring back the classic World War II multiplayer shooter experience by delivering a gameplay experience that resembles that of Call of Duty 1, Call of Duty 2, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
The game utilizes Unreal Engine 4 to power its impressive visuals and will also contain an anti-cheat system to provide gamers with a cheat-free multiplayer environment.
The new gameplay footage shows the development studio's progress since the game was announced last year. The studio will also be releasing an extended gameplay trailer on January 9, 2018.
Battalion 1944 is expected to launch in 2018 first for PC and later for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
