Development studio The Coalition has released new 4K resolution gameplay footage of Gears of War 4. The game is scheduled to launch October 11th for PC and Xbox One.
The new 4K resolution gameplay footage was recorded on a Windows 10 PC powered by an NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics card running at 4K resolution. Earlier today the developer of the game released the system specifications for Gears of War 4 show atleast 80HB of harddisk space is required to run the game.
Gears of War 4 takes place 25 years after the Imulsion Countermeasure weapon destroyed all Imulsion on the planet Sera, taking the Locust and the Lambent with them as well. Unfortunately, this also knocked out the use of fossil fuels, forcing humanity to adapt new ways for survival.
The countermeasure also brought the advent of "Windflares", powerful windstorms that form across the planet. Following the aftermath of the Lambent Epidemic, the reformed Coalition of Ordered Governments estimated that only hundreds of thousands of humans are left on Sera.
In the new video two new Swarm enemies can be spotted: Drones and Pouncers.
