Square Enix has announced that the second downloadable content pack for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided titled A Criminal Past will be coming in February.

The new story content will allow players to experience events that took place before the story of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in which Adam Jensen goes undercover at an augmentation-only, high-security prison in Arizona.

A Criminal Past will be the second downloadable content for the game. The first downloadable content pack System Rift was released in September last year which featured a separate storyline in which Adam Jensen breaks into the Palisade Blade with the help of Francis Pritchard and hacker ShadowChild.

The second downloadable content will provide players with more insight into the lore of the Deus Ex universe, allowing them to experience one of Adam Jensen's first missions for TF29, set some time before the events of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
