Development studio Rockstar Games has once again delayed its upcoming open-world action game Red Dead Redemption 2. It is the second time the studio is forced to delay the game after setting unrealistic deadlines.
On paper, the game is the sequel to original Red Dead Redemption that was released in 2010. However, it is unknown what storyline the second Red Dead Redemption game will follow.
The new game will feature "an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland set in a vast and atmospheric world". It will also feature a multiplayer mode similar to Grand Theft Auto Online and microtransaction systems.
It is the second time the studio has delayed the release of the game. Back in May 2017 it announced it had delay the release of the game to early 2018 because it "wasn't ready".
Red Dead Redemption 2 is now scheduled to launch on October 26, 2018, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
