LawBreakers will start closed alpha testing later this month, the game's director Cliff Bleszinski has confirmed this earlier today.

The game is a role-based first person shooter in which players can break the laws of physics, creating unprecedented gravity-based combat in an ever-evolving arena map. The game is being developed by Boss Key Productions.

Although not much is known about the game, LawBreakers is expected to feature several different game types, including OverCharge in which players fight over the embattled battery to score points. In addition the game features several different character classes to choose from, with each having their own unqiue abilities.

Originally the game was supposed to launch as free-to-play game but in March of this year Bleszinski announced that the developer had moved away from the model in favour of pay-to-play. Gamers that are interested in the game can sign up for the closed alpha testing phase on the game's official website.

A release date for the game is expected to be announced at E3 this year.
