The Nintendo Switch Edition of the popular building game Minecraft is now available on the console's eShop store. The game was already available on several other platforms.
The Nintendo Switch version of the game features an optimized control scheme and user interfaces to be able to play the game on the console without running into issues. The game also features online multiplayer for up to 8 players and a splitscreen multiplayer mode for up to 4 players.
Players who purchase the game will receive the same content pack as the one that came with the Nintendo Wii U version of the game. The content pack features skins and items of iconic Nintendo franchises, including Super Mario, Princess Peach, Bowser and Toad.
Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition is now available for purchase via the console's eShop store for $29.99 in North America and €29.99 in Europe. A physical release is expected to hit stores later this year.
