Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the upcoming anime fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ. The game was announced earlier this year.
The game features a 3 versus 3 character battle mode that allows different team formation strategies to be discovered, and an "ultra-fast battle mode" that is said to incorporate the "thrill of battle".
The game uses a 2.5D animation art style, meaning that, while characters are rendered in a 3D environment, they feature the traditional and iconic Dragon Ball anime art style that matches that of the original anime.
The game is currently in development at Ark System Works Co., a Japanese game development studio located in Yokohama, Japan. The studio is known for its involvement in the development of various 2D anime video games.
The game's reveal trailer was released in June when Bandai Namco officially announced the game after leaked documents confirmed the existence of the game.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is expected to launch in early 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
