Nintendo releases first Nintendo Switch commercial

Nintendo has released the first commercial for the Nintendo Switch console. The commercial will be broadcasted internationally.

The new commercial is very similar to the teaser trailer that was released by the company before it officially revealed the console in detail earlier this month.

Nintendo's new handheld console is scheduled to launch on March 3rd 2017. Included in the retail box are two JoyCon controllers, wrist straps, a JoyCon grip, the Nintendo Switch Dock, a HDMI cable and an AC adapter.The Pro controller will be available separately.

The screen included in the Nintendo Switch is a capacitive touch panel that allows players to interact with user interface elements by tapping on them. The console will also feature WiFi that allows up to 8 consoles to be connected locally to play multiplayer games.

The JoyCon controllers included with the console will feature gyro sensors that can be used to detect motion similarly to the Nintendo Wii's motion controller. The controllers also feature NFC to connect to other objects and they can also be used separately.

The controllers can also detect movement from the front side of the controllers and also feature rumble haptic feedback.

The Nintendo Switch will launch on March 3rd 2017 and will cost ¥29,980 yen in Japan and $299.99 USD in North America.
