EA Dice has launched an update for Battlelog that introduces a new user interface. The new user interface is currently only available for the console versions of Battlefield 4.

With the new user interface EA Dice hopes to make it easier for players to interact and play with their friends. The developer also hopes that the new update will make it easier for players to switch between different Battlefield games within Battlelog.

The new update adds a new side bar to the console version of the Battlefield hub that allows users to switch between different Battlefield games. The Squad Join function, which allows players to easily spawn on their friends locations, has also been tweaked.

The new user interface is currently only available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of Battlefield 4. An update for the PC version of the game is expected to launch later this year.

Battlelog has long been criticized for making the multiplayer component of Battlefield games tedious and frustrating.

The PC versions of recent Battlefield games do not include an in-game server browser to join multiplayer servers. Instead, PC players are forced to install a browser plug-in to be able to browse multiplayer servers via their browser.

The last Battlefield game to feature an in-game server browser was Battlefield Bad Company 2 which released 6 years ago in 2010.
