Indie development studio Bulkhead Interactive has released a new developer diary video for the upcoming World War II shooter game Battalion 1944. The game was announced via Kickstarter last year.
The new developer diary video mostly focuses on the announcement that the development studio has partnered with Square Enix to release the game. By partnering with Square Enix the developers will have access to funding, support and localisation to bring the game to many different regions.
Battalion 1944 aims to bring back the classic World War II multiplayer shooter experience by delivering a gameplay experience that resembles that of Call of Duty 1 and 2, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
The game utilizes Unreal Engine 4 to power its impressive visuals and will also contain an anti-cheat system to provide gamers with a cheat-free multiplayer environment.
Along with the new developer diary video the development studio has also released two new screenshots to show the team's progress since the game was announced last year.
The studio is also expected to release a new trailer next month that will give an in-depth look at the game's features and gameplay experience.
