Arenanet has announced that it will launch season 3 of Guildwars 2's Living World content on July 26th. The story update will pick up right where it left off with the game's Heart Of Thorns expansion.

Just like the second season of Living World the update will be available for free for a limited time only. Players will be able to unlock the episodes as they release by logging into the game. Once unlocked players can either chose to play the storyline instantly or wait to play it at a later date.

With the release of the third season Arenanet is also tweaking their release cycle. The developer states that it will be able to launch new Living World episodes every 2 to 3 months after the update hits this July.

The release of the new season also marks the quarterly patch cycle that the developer had set out previously, bringing many new features as well as updates to existing content.

Earlier last month the developer released a new raid update that featured a new map and story to explore.
