Bethesda has announced that it will launch a new update for Fallout 4 next week. The new update features new textures for the PC version and PlayStation 4 Pro support.
The new 1.9 update for the game will add a new high resolution texture pack for the PC version of the game. The new texture pack totals at roughly 58 GB in size and, according to Bethesda, works best with an Intel Core i7 5820K or better with an Nvidia GTX 1080 or an AMD Radeon RX 490.
Along with the new texture pack for the PC, the new update also introduces PlayStation 4 Pro support to the game. On the PlayStation 4 Pro the game will run at 1440P resolution and will feature enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects and NPCs as well as enhanced godray effects.
The game developer also states that the update will bring new features to mod content for all versions of the game, but failed to mention what those new features are.
The new update is scheduled to launch on Monday February 6th 2017 for all versions of the game.
