2D action platformer game Badass Hero gets new trailer and Early Access content update

Indie development studio Awesome Games Studio has released a new trailer for the 2D action platformer game Badass Hero. The game is currently in Early Access.

Badass Hero features fast-paced hit-and-run gameplay and is set in a comic book universe. In the game players work their way through several different comic books filled with procedurally generated levels and random items.

The new trailer was released to celebrate the launch of a new "The Last Stand of Earth" content update for the Early Access version of the game.

The new comic book update includes five new melee weapons, eleven new enemies to defeat, three minibosses, one superboss and new comic book cinematics.

The update is said to be the first part of the new comic book with more content to follow, including new level patterns and more enemies to defeat.

Badass Hero will eventually make its way to the PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
