Game development studio 4A Games has revealed a new upcoming Metro game titled Metro Exodus. The game was revealed during Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference.
Although not much is known about the game yet, the game will feature support for the Xbox One X. The console was officially revealed earlier today.
In the game players must flee the shattered ruins of dead Moscow and embark on an "epic, continent-spanning" journey across post-apocalyptic Russia.
Players will explore the Russian wilderness in "vast, non-linear levels" and follow a storyline that is inspired by the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky that spans an entire year through spring, summer and autumn to the depths of nuclear winter.
On the PC and Xbox One X, the game will run at 4K resolution running at 60 frames per second.
The game is expected to launch later in 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
