The Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One demo that was scheduled to launch today is most likely going to be delayed. The demo version of the game was supposed to release 10 hours ago.
On the game's official Microsoft Store page it is displayed that an Xbox One demo would be available today. The demo was supposed to be available 10 hours ago but fans of the franchise are still unable to access it.
On social media hundreds of players who have been eagerly awaiting the demo version of the game are complaining about not being able to download it.
In response to the fans the official Forza Motorsport Twitter page states that Playground Studios "will be sharing more details on demo plans very soon." but it did not disclose when, indicating that the development studio is not quite ready to launch a demo.
The racing game is set in the Australian outback and features over 350 unique vehicles, including the recently revealed M12S Warthog CST from Halo.
The full version of Forza Horizon 3 launches on September 27th 2016 for PC and Xbox One.
Update: While a Microsoft spokesperson has not been able to confirm the delay yet, a Microsoft Xbox Ambassador has stated that internally a Monday 10AM PDT / 5PM GMT / 6PM BST release date is listed for the Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One demo.
Update 2: A Microsoft spokesperson has commented on the delayed release of the Forza Horizon 3 demo stating that "more information regarding the release of 'Forza Horizon 3 Demo' will be announced soon.", indicating that an official statement from Playground Games may be available later today that will either announce the launch of the demo or confirm the delay.
Update 3: Our source has confirmed that the Forza Horizon 3 Xbox One demo will launch in 30 minutes from now, which corresponds with the times mentioned earlier today via update 1.
