Game development studio Naughty Dog has confirmed that the standalone Uncharted game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will be releasing in August.
In Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross are the main characters. The two are reluctant partners who don't see eye-to-eye, but who must work together to obtain the priceless Tusk from a mysterious warlord named Asav.
The game will be released on August 23rd 2017 exclusively for PlayStation 4 and will retail for a price of $39.00 in North America and €39.00 in Europe. As it is a standalone game, players will not be required to own Uncharted 4: A Thief's End to be able to play the game.
Earlier this week Naughty Dog director of communications Arne Mayer stated that the studio was planning on releasing The Lost Legacy as an Uncharted 4: A Thief's End expansion pack, but the game quickly grew to become a fully fledged standalone experience. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is said to contain at least 10 hours of gameplay.
