Nadeo and Ubisoft have announced that the PlayStation 4 version of TrackMania Turbo will get a free virtual reality update later this year.
The new virtual reality update will bring support for PlayStation VR, which is scheduled to launch in later this year on October 13th, completely free of charge. Back in 2015 the developer of the game, Nadeo, already hinted at the possiblility of virtual reality support in their latest titles.
The announcement that was released via an e-mail only mentions that the PlayStation 4 version of the game will receive the update. Whether the PC version of the game will also receive a similar update for the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift remains to be seen.
The required PlayStation VR headset will be available for purchase starting October 13th and is expected to cost €399.00.
