Ubisoft is in the process of opening two new development studios in Mumbai and Odesa, the company confirmed earlier this week.
According to a recent press release, both studios will work on major upcoming game releases in collaboration with other western Ubisoft studios.
The studio in Mumbai will open in June, 2018, and the studio in Odesa is already said to be up and running in collaboration with its other Ukrainian studio in Kiev.
It is not surprising that Ubisoft is opening more development studios in India and Ukraine. Significantly lower wages in these countries allow the company to develop products at a lower cost to maximize its profits.
