The playable demo for the action RPG game The Surge is now available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The demo was announced earlier this month.

The Surge is an action RPG set in a world ravaged by war and global warming. Fitted with your exo-suit and cybernetic implants, players will harness super-human strength to survive the CREO complex, a mega-corporation that set out to save the world.

According to a recent press release, the demo version of the game contains hours of content and players will be able to transfer their progression if they decide to purchase the full retail version.

On PlayStation 4 Pro players will be able to select between two graphical modes: 30 fps at 4K resolution and 60 fps at 1080P resolution.

The Surge demo is now available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game received mixed reviews when it released earlier this year.
