Activision has announced that the HD remaster of the classic skater game Tony Hawk's Pro Skater titled Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will be removed from Steam on July 17, 2017.
According to a recent community post the game will be removed from the Steam Store on July 17, 2017. A reason for the removal was not given, but it is likely related to music licenses that are no longer valid, preventing the publisher from selling the game any longer.
The game first released on July 18, 2012, on Xbox 360, on August 28, 2012, on PlayStation 3 and made its way to the PC on September 18, 2012. The PC version of the game received mixed reviews for its low frame rate and clunky controls.
The change only affects those who still want to purchase the title via Steam. Those who have already purchased the game will still be able to play the game after it disappears from the store.
Activision has launched a 80% off sale for the game, which is now available for just $1.99 in North America and €1.99 in Europe. In the review section of the game players are urging potential buyers to not purchase the game because of many game-breaking issues.
