Microsoft's Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has announced that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will support the Xbox Play Anywhere program.
With the Xbox Play Anywhere program players can purchase the digital edition of the game and gain access to both the PC and Xbox One versions of the game.
Games that support the program will automatically sync progress and unlocked achievements in the cloud, allowing gamers to continue playing where they left off regardless of which device they used.
The Steam version of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will not support Xbox Play Anywhere, meaning that only the Windows 10 Store version of the game will give gamers access to both versions of the game digitally.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard launches on January 24th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
