Psyonix has announced that it is working on an update for the PlayStation 4 version of Rocket League to add support for the PlayStation 4 Pro. The update is expected to launch next week.
The new update will add support for the PlayStation 4 Pro by allowing the game run at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, which is higher than the standard 1080P resolution that is currently supported.
The higher resolution will be available in both the singleplayer and multiplayer splitscreen modes, though whether it will also be available in the online multiplayer mode is still unclear.
The PlayStation 4 Pro update was already confirmed last year but this is the first time that the game developer has released information on the update.
Aside from the higher resolution the update will also fix several bugs that were reported by players and introduce a new Player's Choice crate containing several popular items.
The PlayStation 4 Pro update for Rocket League launches on February 21st 2017.
