Microsoft has announced a remaster of the classic RTS game Age of Empires. The remaster is titled Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and will be launching later this year.


The remastered edition of Age of Empires will feature 4K graphics, multiple zoom levels, an orchestrated soundtrack, and support for Xbox Live Multiplayer.

The original game launched in 1997 and was developed by Ensemble Studios.
