Bandai Namco has announced it will be running an open beta test for the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ. The fighting game will make its way to the handheld console in September.

According to a recent announcement, the open beta test is scheduled to start in August. Players are expected to be able to test new multiplayer functionality that is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version.

New in the handheld release are the new 2 vs 2 and 1 vs 1 multiplayer modes. The standard 3 vs 3 multiplayer mode will also be available.

In addition, the game will also feature a 6-player Party Match mode that allows up to 6 players to play against each other locally.

Dragon Ball FighterZ for Nintendo Switch releases on September 28, 2018.
