The PC version of Mafia 3 that was released earlier today has received hundreds of negative reviews over the inclusion of a hidden 30 frames per second cap.
The reviews on Steam state that the game doesn't run over 30 frames per second regardless of the player's hardware. The game is also said to suffer from blurry graphics due to possible 720P resolution upscaling, frequent crashes, clunky mouse control movement and no SLI support.
Curiously, before the release of the game 2K Games has not released any information that could indicate that the game featured a 30 frames per second cap on the PC.
Due to the many issues several players are reporting they have requested a refund through Steam's refund system. 2K Games has not yet reacted on why it has released a poor PC port of Mafia 3.
Mafia 3 is available starting today for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
