Nintendo has announced that it has sold over 10 million Nintendo Switch units since the release of the console in March 2017.

The statement gives an insight in the success of the console. The new figure shows that Nintendo is selling roughly 1 million Nintendo Switch consoles per month.

The 10 million milestone is in line with the company's expectations that it had released in July when it confirmed it had sold roughly 5 million units since the console's release.

Some of the titles that power the console's impressive sales figures are Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8: Deluxe.
