Indie developer Eric Barone has revealed the upcoming multiplayer update for the indie hit game Stardew Valley will also include new new content and features.
While Barone already announced that the new free update would be introducing multiplayer to the game, he has now also revealed that it will contain new content and features.
When the new update releases it will give players access to a new town event in the winter season, a new winter collection, signs that can display items, outdoor decorations that can change with seasons and new NPC events.
The update will also allow players to change their chosen profession during gameplay. However, the exact details of this feature have yet to be revealed.
The content is expected to be just some of the new content that will be introduced with the upcoming update.
The update is expected to be released in early 2018. It will released for PC, Mac and Linux first and for consoles sometime after the initial release.
