A physical release of Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will be hit major retailers in Europe, Australia and New Zealand in April.
The game is the remake of the original 8-bit game Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, which was released in 1989 for the popular Sega Master System and Sega Game Gear consoles.
The memorable music of Shinichi Sakamoto has been completely re-imagined by musician Michel Geyre, involving dozens of classical instrumentalists and different folk subsets.
The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions of the game are presented in widescreen HD and include enhanced user interfaces, the new playable character Wonder Girl and the option to toggle between new and original graphics and sound.
Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will be available at major retailers in Europe, Australia and New Zealand starting April 19, 2018. It will retail for €39.99 in Europe.
The physical release was already available in the United States.
