Ubisoft has announced a new arena shooter titled Atomega. The studio has announced the game via the release of a new trailer.

Atomega features player-controlled golem-like creatures called Exoforms. The Exoforms are life forms built from many small blocks. These life forms can be upgraded from the default ATOM state to the OMEGA state by collecting MASS by killing enemies.

The game is currently in development at Ubisoft Reflections, the same studio that worked on Grow Home and Grow Up.

In the game players battle against each other in 4 vs 4 player matches. Each match typically lasts around 10 minutes and the team that acquires the most MASS will win the match.

Atomega launches on September 19, 2017, exclusively for PC.
