Earlier this week Rockstar Games unveiled the next addition to the world of Grand Theft Auto Online, named the Lowriders update. This latest free expansion will feature all kinds of goodies, from new cars to new weapons, clothing options and more.
As usual with these updates there will also be a dozen of bug fixes made for improvements all over Grand Theft Auto Online and beyond. The much requested 4th garage is also coming with this update as well as new missions, adversary modes plus hundreds of new customization options - both for your car and avatar, the latter includes new hair styles, hats, tattoos, shoes, shirts and earrings.
The biggest addition, of course, are the lowriders itself and with that the all-new hydraulics physics, a first in GTA V. - Lowriders have various opportunities for the customization of details, including, but not limited to:
- Engine block covers and air filters.
- Interior material (leather, velour, etc.) and patterns.
- Dials with custom colors and designs.
- Custom steering wheel.
- Custom shift lever.
- Hydraulics (bounce higher with more powerful pumps).
- Stereos, speakers, and subs.
- Neons (already in the game).
- Paint jobs.
- Plaques.
- Interaction menu will allow for the opening and closing of the doors, trunk, and hood. You will also be able to turn your engine on and off and flash your neons.
- You can play music from your low-rider's stereo, presumably with the Interaction Menu.
- New missions from Lamar.
- 3 new Adversary Modes.
- New weapons: Fully automatic Machine Pistol, Machete.
- 4th property.
- New clothing, hairstyles, and accessories.
The Grand Theft Auto Online: Lowriders update is due this coming Tuesday, October 20th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This update will not be available to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners.
