Screenshots of the remastered edition of the game appeared online last week. At that time the rumors of a new Duke Nukem game were not confirmed.

Even though early rumors hinted a possible multiplayer mode included in the remastered edition of the game the development studio has not released any details that could confirm those claims.

Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour launches October 11th for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
