Nintendo has announced that it will be bringing the Wii U game Hyrule Warriors to the Nintendo Switch.


The Nintendo Switch version of the game will contain every map, all 29 playable characters and missions from both the Wii U and 3DS versions. The game will also include all downloadable content.

The game render at 1080P resolution in docked mode and also features two-player splitscreen multiplayer functionality by each using a JoyCon controller.

In addition, the game will also include Link and Zelda outfits based on their appearance in the Nintendo Switch game The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is expected to launch this spring for Nintendo Switch.
