Warhorse CEO Martin Frývalský stated that "becoming part of THQ Nordic family is an important milestone for the studio". The company started with a handful of employees to support the development of Kingdom Come: Deliverance following a successful Kickstarter campaign.

In our review of the game we gave it a 6 out of 10, noting that while the game delivered in the areas of graphical fidelity and sound effects, technical flaws and an average story were holding it back.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance released on February 13, 2018, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
