Ubisoft has announced it will be integrating lootboxes in the tactical shooter game Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Lootboxes will be added via a future game update.
The lootboxes that will be introduced in the game are called Battle Crates and can be purchased with 400 credits via the game's in-game store.
Battle Crates are said to not contain duplicate items, meaning that players will only receive items they haven't acquired yet.
Items featured in Battle Crates will have different types of rarity: Rare, Epic and Legendary and will cover all game types available, including singleplayer and PvP multiplayer.
Battle Crates are expected to be introduced via Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands' upcoming Extended Ops update.
