Codemasters has released the first gameplay trailer for its next annual release of its F1 racing game F1 2019. The game releases in June.
F1 2019 features all the official teams, drivers and all 21 circuits from the 2019 season. The game sees the return of 18 classic cars, including the 2010 Red Bull RB6, 2008 McLaren MP4-23 and 2004 Ferrari F2004.
"Legends" and "Anniversary" editions will also be available separately. The first will include four extra cars: 1990 Ferrari F1-90, 1990 McLaren MP4/5B, 2010 Ferrari F10, and 2010 McLaren MP4-25, and the second will include two extra cars: 2010 Ferrari F10, and 2010 McLaren MP4-25.
This year sees the inclusion of F2 with players being able to complete the 2018 FIA Formula 2 Championship. The 2019 F2 Championship content will be made available as a free digital update during the season.
With this release the studio "wants to build on the success of previous iterations" and deliver an experience that rivals the quality and production values of the real-life sport.
F1 2019 will release on June 28, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
