EA Dice has announced that the open beta for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will start in October. The open beta test will be available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

In the open beta test players will have access to the Assault on Theed map that was shown during E3 2017. The open beta will feature both the Galactic Assault and the Starfighter Assault game modes.

EA Dice already invited several YouTuber vloggers to the game's closed alpha tests last month to promote the game. The open beta will feature the same content as the alpha tests along with new content.

The Star Wars: Battlefront 2 open beta starts on October 6th, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and ends on October 9th, 2017. Players who pre-order the game will get early access to the open beta test starting October 4th, 2017.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 launches on November 17th, 2017, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
