The War Mode for the Battle Royale shooter game PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is now also available as temporary event. The mode was already available via custom matches.
In War Mode players spawn with a predefined set of weapons and items as they make their way to a small section of the map. Once landed, squads of 10 players battle against each other until one of them hits the 200 kills limit.

The new War Mode is the first mode in which players respawn after they die. The mode will be available via the game's Event Mode until Monday morning, but will stay available in custom matches.
