Frontier Developments has released the second alpha version of Planet Coaster, the studio's upcoming coaster park simulation game.

The new alpha version brings 14 new types of rollercoaster rides, including dive coasters, floorless coasters and giga coasters, along with tons of additional features, including landscaping, and bug fixes.

The most notable new feature in the game is landscaping capabilities that have been given huge rework, now allowing players to modify terrain and even build rollercoasters underneath the ground. In addition players can now modify rollercoaster carts, stations, speeds and even colors.

Frontier Developments was the original studio behind the third Roller Coaster Tycoon game that released in 2004. The studio released the first alpha version of Planet Coaster back in March. The game is expected to be available for purchase for around €39.99 in November of this year and is already available via an early access program.
