Development studio Rare has released the PC system specifications for the upcoming multiplayer pirate game Sea of Thieves. The game releases next month.
Sea of Thieves features extensive multiplayer co-op capabilities. In the game players must work together to control a pirate ship. Players will face enemies and battle enemy ships by using their ship's cannons.
Players can also set foot on land to complete quests or to explore the game's vast environments.
To run the game at normal resolutions the studio recommends players to use an Intel i3 4170 processor running at 3.7 GHz or equivalent, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB or equivalent and 8 GB RAM.
The PC version of the game will also fully support 4K resolution rendering. To run the game at this resolution the studio recommends an Intel i7 4790 processor running at 4.0 GHz or equivalent, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080Ti 8GB or equivalent and 16 GB RAM.
The game will only support systems running the Windows 10 operating system, meaning that those who still run Windows 7 will not be able to launch the game.
Sea of Thieves launches on March 20, 2018, for PC and Xbox One.
