Activision has released a new trailer for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered. In the trailer the multiplayer component of the game is shown.
At launch the remastered edition of the original Call of Duty 4 game will contain the full singleplayer campaign and only 10 of the multiplayer maps. With an additional 6 multiplayer maps to be released in December.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was widely popular when it released back in 2007 and is still considered being one of the best Call of Duty games of the franchise. After the release of the game many more titles followed, 9 to be exact, that were all lesser quality.
Fans of the franchise consider recent Call of Duty games to be milking the succes of the original Modern Warfare game, claiming the newer titles bring no innovation or gameplay changes.
Just like the original game Activision has stated that the remastered version will include dedicated server support. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered comes bundled with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and can not be purchased separately.
Players who pre-purchase the PlayStation 4 version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be able to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered 30 days earlier.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered launches on November 4th 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. View the countdown to the game's release as well as the latest videos, screenshots in the game's digital hub.
