Development studio Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the closed beta test of Tom Clancy's The Division 2. The private beta will start in February.
The closed beta test will start in February and last just a couple of days. Those who wish to participate will have to either pre-order the game or sign up via a special web page.
However, the sign-up web page will only give a handful of players access to the closed beta. This is because the studio wants players to pre-order the game instead. Ubisoft calls this scheme a "private beta".
Earlier this month, Ubisoft pulled the game from Steam, stating that the game is now only available via its own Uplay Store and Epic's Game Store. The publisher did not comment on why it doesn't want to sell the game via Steam anymore.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2 releases on March 15, 2019, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
