New 18 minute gameplay video of The Last Guardian released
Monday 19 September 2016 - 11:50 BST

Sony has released a new 18 minute gameplay video of The Last Guardian. The video shows the first missions of the game.

The Last Guardian was first announced in 2009 for the PlayStation 3. After several delays in 2011 and 2012 the game was announced for the PlayStation 4 during E3 2015.
The game revolves around a young boy who befriends a giant hybrid creature, Trico, and the two work together to evade guards that are after them both.

The game requires the player to manipulate Trico like a real animal, such as luring it with food, as to use the creature as a means to climb and reach high platforms or other remote places.

Earlier this week Sony announced that it had delayed The Last Guardian until December because game developers at JAPAN Studio stumbled upon more bugs than they had anticipated during the last phase of development.

The Last Guardian launches December 6th exclusively for PlayStation 4.
